By car
From Berlin, Munich (A 9), Zeitz (B 91):
A 9 Exit (Abfahrt) Weißenfels – B 91 toward Leipzig, Weißenfels-Zentrum – Selauer Straße – Zeitzer Straße – use parking garage Parkhaus Georgenberg or go via Große Klosterstraße to the Market Square and Leipziger Straße public parking lots.
From Dresden (A 38), Lützen, Leipzig (B 87):
A 38 Exit (Abfahrt) Lützen – B 87 Leipziger Straße toward Weißenfels – B91 toward Zeitz / A9 until Exit Zentrum – Selauer Straße – Zeitzer Straße – use the parking garage Parkhaus Georgenberg or go via Große Klosterstraße to the Market Square and Leipziger Straße public parking lots.
From Göttingen (A 38), Merseburg, Halle (B 91):
A38 Exit (Abfahrt) Weißenfels / Leuna – B 91 toward Weißenfels – Merseburger Straße toward Centre (Zentrum) – roundabout (Kreisverkehr) Niemöllerplatz – Friedrichsstraße – roundabout at Hotel Jägerhof: take the third exit – Nikolaistraße: turn right after the tunnel to get to the parking garage Parkhaus Georgenberg or turn left into Große Klosterstraße to get to the Market Square (Markt) and Leipziger Straße public parking lots.
FromNaumburg (B 87):
B87 Naumburger Straße until roundabout at Hotel Jägerhof: take the second exit – Nikolaistraße: turn right after the tunnel to get to the parking garage Parkhaus Georgenberg or turn left into Große Klosterstraße to get to the Market Square (Markt) and Leipziger Straße public parking lots.

Regional trains depart every hour from Leipzig, Halle,and Erfurt.
Several times a day a Burgenlandbahn departs from der Saale-Unstrut region.
It takes approximately 10 minutes to walk from the Weissenfels train station to the Heinrich-Schütz-Haus.
By airplane
The closest international airport is Halle/Leipzig (ca. 35 kilometers northeast from Weissenfels).
Using public transport, it takes approximately one hour to get to Weissenfels.
By bicycle
Weissenfels is part of the Saaleradweg. It can be reached within a day from Halle and Jena.
By tour bus
